The assault was reported at the Sushant Golf City police station. The incident took place on Tuesday (25th June), when the victim, a mother of three, accused seven men of gang-rape. In her complaint, she described herself as a 30-year-old woman from a financially struggling background, with a husband who earns a living driving an auto-rickshaw to support their family. This case highlights a grave and violent breach of individual safety and is currently under thorough investigation by local authorities.

Continuing from the harrowing ordeal of the Dalit woman in Lucknow, the victim elaborated on the circumstances leading to the assault. She stated that while she was at the government hospital in Sushant Golf City to obtain medicine, seven individuals near Khurdahi market forcibly abducted her. Among these individuals, she specifically identified Anwar as the main perpetrator. The group then took her to a nearby garden where they sequentially raped her. When the victim attempted to protest, she was brutally beaten, and her phone was stolen by the assailants.

After enduring such a traumatic experience, the victim was able to reach the local police station to report the crime. The police promptly responded to her complaint and proceeded to the scene of the crime, only to find that all the accused had already fled.

In response to her complaint, the authorities have initiated legal proceedings against the seven accused, including the 30-year-old Anwar. They have been charged under Sections 376 (D) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, along with Section 3(2)(V) of the SC/ST Act, which addresses offenses against members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. In their effort to apprehend the perpetrators, the police have organized teams and launched extensive raids.

On 26th June, the main accused, Anwar, was captured by the police on Sultanpur Road in Lucknow as he attempted to escape. The authorities are now seeking to remand him for further interrogation to gather more details about the incident and potentially uncover the whereabouts of the other absconding individuals involved in this heinous crime.

As the case progresses, the police are intensifying their efforts to locate and arrest the remaining suspects who are still at large. The Hindu community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity that might help in apprehending the remaining individuals linked to this case. The commitment of the local police to bringing all those involved to justice remains unwavering.
