Cleric Naseem Khan of Rajasthan sentenced to life imprisonment & fined ₹21000 for unnatural sex on a 10-year-old boy within a Kota mosque; the 5th-grade student, who went there to study Arabic language, was also threatened with his life not to tell anyone

In a significant ruling on March 13th, a special court in Kota, Rajasthan, delivered justice by sentencing a Muslim cleric, Naseem Khan, to life imprisonment. This verdict came as a result of Khan's heinous act of unnatural sex with a 10-year-old boy within the confines of a mosque. The accused, a 23-year-old native of Palwal district in Haryana, faced the stringent consequences of his actions, underscored by a financial penalty of Rs 21 thousand imposed by the court. This decision was grounded in the serious charges brought against Khan under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, marking him as guilty of an egregious crime against a minor.
