In a stunning occurrence that occurred in the Pilokhadi area of Meerut on 26th June 2022, a gathering of gay Muslim companions killed a 22-year-old Hindu youth Yash Rastogi and afterward cleaved his dead body into pieces and tossed it into a channel. The Meerut police have captured every one of the four blamed and further investigation is going on. The departed youth Yash Rastogi was a law student.

As per a report by Dainik Bhaskar, LLB student Yash Rastogi, an occupant of the Jagriti Vihar Sector 6 of the Medical police headquarters region, was killed by his gay Muslim companions after which the executioners hacked and tossed his dead body into a channel close to Pilokhadi in the Lisadi Gate area of Meerut. The Meerut police recuperated the dead body parts from the channel on Saturday, July 2 late around evening time. The captured accused have told during the police investigation that they had sodomized the departed youth prior to killing him.

As per Meerut city SP Vinit Bhatnagar, this was a group of gay companions. Yash Rastogi was killed by his gay companions in a similar gathering. A post-mortem of the recuperated dead body was led on Sunday and afterward last ceremonies were performed at the Surajkund crematorium. As it happened On June 26, Yash Rastogi left his house in the night on his scooter saying that he will return in a while. His family members lodged a grievance in the Medical police station as he did not return. The police traced the final location recorded by his cell phone. It turned out to be Pilokhadi close to the Lisadi Gate area. On the basis of the call detailed information of his phone, the Meerut police arrested 4 suspected accused Imran, Shavej, Ali, and Salman. All of them had been Yash Rastogi’s friends.

The captured accused first attempted to avoid the inquiries from the police. A stricter investigation uncovered that Shavej met Yash at Lisadi Gate. Yash Rastogi would not show his cell phone to these companions. The other three companions thought that Yash must be concealing their video which he could have made. After a short trade of abusive words between Yash Rastogi and his companions, the accused companions choked Yash Rastogi to death. After his passing, Yash was likewise stabbed in the hands and legs with a knife. The police said that the justification for death will be known after the posthumous report is received.

As per the police, Shavej and Ali alias Alijaan told during the cross-examination that they and Yash had a gay relationship. He was killed on June 26. Prior to killing Yash, the accused made homosexual relationships with him. Later they cut off his neck with a knife. Then, at that point, they cut his body into a few pieces and stuffed it in a sack to toss into the channel.
