"You are what you believe in. You become that which you believe you can become": Google Software Engr. launches GitaGPT that deploys AI to answer your questions about life problems, “What if you could talk to Bhagavad Gita? To Lord Krishna himself?”
GitaGPT: Following OpenAI’s release of the ChatGPT AI chatbot, tech giants Microsoft and Google unveiled their own versions of it. Google introduced the Bard chatbot, while Microsoft integrated ChatGPT-like technology into its Bing search engine.

Not only big tech companies but startups and developers are also seeking to develop similar AI chatbots, one of which is the GitaGPT developed by a Bengaluru-based Google software engineer.
GitaGPT – Gita becomes digital
The GitaGPT was created by Sukuru Sai Vineet and takes inspiration from Bhagavad Gita. It uses GPT-3 technology to provide answers to life questions.
GitaGPT is a chatbot platform that allows users to seek advice from the Bhagavad Gita for their everyday problems. By asking questions, the AI chatbot provides answers based on the teachings of the Hindu scripture.

AI help for life decision
The platform is powered by OpenAI’s GPT-3 and presents itself as a “revolutionary” solution. The platform promises to offer users an easy and interactive way to gain insight into their life decisions. However, it is important to note that, while the chatbot primarily provides answers to life problems, it may struggle to respond to questions about individuals such as Elon Musk or Bill Gates.
It is wonderful that Bhagavad Gita has become the first epic to be used in the framework of Artificial Intelligence. Undoubtedly, it is the power of Sanatan dharm and its ideas that is accepted across the globe.
Apart from that, it is a well-known fact that the cases of depression and anxiety among other psychological illnesses are increasing because of the hectic and pressurized lifestyle. Being isolated from spirituality, most people face problems in making life decisions. While what unfolds with AI is in the future, one thing is clear the Gita ideology by GitaGPT is going to be the saviour of people in their hard times.
Sukuru Sai Vineet, the man behind this GitaGPT had unveiled the AI Chatbot on January 28, 2023, saying “What if you could talk to the Bhagavad Gita? To Lord Krishna himself?”. In case if you are unaware of Bhagavad Gita, here is the brief:
The Bhagavad Gita ’The Song by God’ often referred to as the Gita, is a 700-verse Hindu scripture that is part of the epic Mahabharata dated to the second half of the first millennium BCE and is typical of the Hindu synthesis. It is considered to be one of the holy scriptures for Hinduism.
Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-3, GitaGPT is capable of answering solutions to any of your problems, getting it from the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita and its preaching. The chatbot clarifies on making decisions, and pacifies your queries directly from the lines of the holy scripture.
For example,
On asking “What is the meaning of life?”, the chatbot replied this:
“The meaning of life, as described in the Bhagavad Gita, is to strive for liberation from old age and death, taking refuge in God and realizing Brahman, the knowledge of the Self and all action. It is to be devoted to Gold and to work for the sake of sacrifice, with detachment and an established mind in knowledge. Ultimately, the goal is to reach the resplendent Supreme Person.”
The developer in another instance ranted about his trouble of not being able to find a house in Bengaluru to the chatbot. And this is what he got in return:
“I understand that finding a house in Bengaluru can be difficult. However, the Bhagavad Gita teaches us that our true abode is in Brahman (self), the immortal and immutable, of everlasting Dharma and of absolute bliss. Let us remember this and seek solace in it, as we continue our search for a house.”
GitaGPT knows only about Life Problems
The chatbot is conversational and embraces the answer with reference to Bhagavad Gita in a positive tone. However, GitaGPT is being trained only on the Hindu scripture, it can answer only about your life problems and life tips. Any question outside that like “What happened to Adani Groups” or “Will AI take over humans?” may not be answered correctly.
It’s open to use for the public, but currently, the site is under maintenance. Here is the chatbot.
