Hanif Jadi is charged with a heinous act of raping a Hindu girl along the Kadi Chhatral highway back in February. Following the incident, a formal complaint was lodged against him, prompting an official crime registration.
According to allegations, Hanif Jadi targeted a Hindu girl who was walking alone early in the morning. He reportedly pursued her with his car, following her from the highway all the way to her hostel. It is claimed that during this pursuit, he attempted to force the girl into his vehicle and proceeded to molest her. During this terrifying ordeal, he is also accused of issuing death threats to several youths who intervened to aid the girl.
The courage of the victim in coming forward led to the registration of a case at Mehsana's Kadi police station against Hanif Jadi. This action initiated the legal process leading to his eventual arrest, illustrating the police's commitment to addressing such grievous offenses.
OpIndia recently reached out to the Kadi police station for updates concerning the case against Hanif Jadi, who is accused of molesting a Hindu girl. The police confirmed that Hanif Jadi was arrested on Saturday, April 27, 2024. They also mentioned that further legal proceedings are set to follow. Hanif Jadi was found at his residence located near the Sahara guesthouse in the Kasba area, where he reportedly came shortly before his arrest.
Upon receiving crucial information about Hanif Jadi's location, police officers quickly mobilized and made their way to his house. With the information at hand, the police organized several teams to apprehend him at his residence, and they are now making arrangements to present him in court.
The police's prompt response to the information underscores their dedication to ensuring that justice is served, by swiftly taking actions to secure and process the accused through the judicial system.

Accused from Gujsikot, Tadipar from 7 districts
The Kadi police have revealed that Hanif Jadi, the accused, has a history of criminal activities. Before this incident, he was involved in a crime in Gujsikot and was released on bail last December. Additionally, Hanif Jadi has been officially banned from entering 7 districts, including Mehsana, which has contributed to his reputation as a notorious figure in these areas. Furthermore, he has had crimes registered against him in over 35 different police stations, indicating a widespread criminal pattern.
Specifically, on February 10, a complaint was lodged by a Hindu girl against Hanif Jadi. She accused him of raping her and attempting to force her into a car. During this incident, he not only assaulted her but also threatened to kill other Hindu youths who intervened to help her. This series of actions prompted an intense search by the police to locate and arrest him.
These revelations from the police underscore Hanif Jadi's repeated disregard for the law and his threatening behavior towards the community, marking him as a significant public threat. The authorities are now taking all necessary steps to ensure he faces justice for his alleged crimes.
What Happened That Fateful Morning?
On a chilling morning before dawn on Thursday, February 8, a Hindu girl found herself in a terrifying situation. While visiting her maternal uncle near Mehsana and walking along Chhatral Road at around 4:30 AM, she was suddenly confronted by Hanif Jadi. He sped towards her in his Innova, taking advantage of the night's dark veil to halt her path.
But his actions grew even more menacing. Hanif Jadi didn’t just stop her; he aggressively tried to drag her into his car, not once but repeatedly. Her desperate attempts to escape led her to Panjarapol, but he was relentless. He followed her there, where he again tried to force her into the car, and amid the quiet streets, he molested her. The fear and helplessness of the girl paint a stark picture of the horror she endured during those dark hours.
The ordeal of the Hindu girl in the Panjarapol area took a frightening turn when Hanif Jadi escalated the confrontation, attempting to overpower her. It was at this critical moment that several Hindu youths, hearing the commotion, rushed to her aid, which caused Hanif to flee the scene momentarily.
However, the terror did not end there. As the youths escorted the distressed girl in a rickshaw to a safer location near Chhatral Chowkdi, Hanif brazenly returned, his presence more menacing than before. He confronted the group, stepping out of his car wielding a baseball bat, and arrogantly threatened the girl, shouting, "Who am I, you know me." His intimidation did not stop with her; he also threatened the lives of the brave youths who had intervened to help her, before ultimately fleeing the scene.
Haunted by these events, the girl found the courage to file a formal complaint against Hanif Jadi on February 10, 2024, at the Kadi police station. Acting on her brave testament, the police filed charges of molestation against Hanif and launched a manhunt. Their relentless pursuit culminated in his arrest, marking a significant step towards justice for the traumatized victim and a reassurance to the community that such menacing threats would not go unchecked.
The local police have acted decisively against Hanif Jadi by registering an extortion case against him, signaling their determination to capture him once again. It is crucial to note that Hanif's criminal record is extensive, particularly in the Jadi Kadi area. Despite being recently released on bail for his involvement in the Gujsitok crime last month, his notoriety continues as he remains a wanted individual in the Mehsana district. Moreover, his criminal activities span across the region, with crimes registered against him in more than 35 police stations.
The situation surrounding Hanif became even more contentious a month ago when the court decided to grant him conditional bail. Adding to the community's frustrations, after his release, supporters of Hanif brazenly celebrated with fireworks in public, a gesture that many saw as a blatant disregard for the law and the victims of his alleged crimes. This act of public defiance not only highlights the support Hanif seems to command but also raises concerns about the influence and impact of his continued presence in the community.
