"Khwaja-e-Hind wo darbaar hai aa’laa tera, Pakda gaya aate dargah momin pyara tera": Pakistani Rizwan Ashraf crossed international border to kill Nupur Sharma with 11-inch long knife, planned to visit Ajmer Dargah before attack, arrested
Rizwan Ashraf, a Pakistani infiltrator caught by the BSF in the Hindumal Kot area of Sriganganagar district on the Indo-Pakistan border, entered the Indian border with the intention of killing the suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
The interrogation of this intruder by the Joint Investigation Team revealed that he had come to kill Nupur Sharma after getting annoyed with her remarks. Before implementing the plan, he had a plan to visit Ajmer Dargah. An 11-inch-long knife, religious books, and clothes were recovered from him.

The controversy over Nupur Sharma’s comments during a TV debate has taken a horrible turn, with Sharma getting countless death threats and numerous others being attacked by Islamists simply for supporting her on social media. Islamists have already assassinated two people for their support for Nupur Sharma. Several other people have been threatened with death.
Further, the terrorist organization Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) threatened Hindus and Sikhs in June of this year in response to Nupur Sharma’s remarks on Prophet Muhammad. On June 6, this year, Al Qaeda issued a letter threatening suicide bombings in Delhi, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat in order to “fight for the honor of the Prophet.”

Infiltrators have also been caught in Jaisalmer and Barmer
It is noteworthy that Pakistani infiltrators have been caught many times in the past on the India-Pakistan International Border located in Rajasthan. Apart from Sri Ganganagar, these infiltrators have also been caught in Jaisalmer and Barmer districts. The Border Security Force personnel posted on the border are stationed in the security system. Despite the strict vigil of the soldiers, Pakistani infiltrators do not deter from committing nefarious acts.
The smuggling of drugs on the border has also increased significantly
The smuggling of drugs on this border has also increased significantly for some time. Smugglers from Pakistan across the border smuggle heroin through drones. They have contacts with local smugglers. The smugglers here take delivery of drugs and take them to Punjab. BSF has caught many such cases in the past.
