"इश्क-ए-जलालत": Shamsher Ansari, posing as 'Tiger', trapped a Hindu girl in a horrifying case of love jihad—married her, forced Islam conversion, fed her beef, threatened acid attack, and was arrested in Kushinagar after she exposed him to the SP

Ansari has been booked by the police under Sections 69, 191(2), 115(2), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The police are investigating whether other persons were involved in the matter.

Uttar Pradesh: Shamsher Becomes Tiger to Lure Hindu Girl into Marriage, Force Her to Convert to Islam and Eat Beef

Love jihad cases keep popping up all over India, even though the government has brought in tough laws to stop them. Sadly, people still get tricked by those who hide their true selves when it comes to choosing a life partner. Despite all the efforts to raise awareness and enforce strict rules, these incidents just don’t seem to go away. The latest heart-wrenching story comes from Kushinagar, a district in Uttar Pradesh, where a Muslim man cleverly changed his name to pull a Hindu girl into his trap. He spun a web of love around her, got her to marry him, and then turned her life into a nightmare by exploiting her in the worst ways imaginable.

In this shocking new case of ‘love jihad’ from Kushinagar, a man named Shamsher Ansari has landed behind bars. The police arrested him after finding out he had fooled a Hindu woman into marrying him by pretending to be someone he wasn’t—using a fake Hindu name to win her trust. This wasn’t just a simple lie; it was a calculated move to deceive her completely.

Reports reveal a disturbing truth: Ansari didn’t stop at tricking her into marriage. He went further, forcing the Hindu woman to abandon her faith and convert to Islam. Along with that, he physically assaulted her and even made her eat beef against her will. The young woman, who originally comes from Jamui in Bihar, couldn’t bear the torment any longer. She gathered all her courage and reached out for help, going straight to the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Kushinagar. Her plea didn’t fall on deaf ears—after hearing her story, the SP quickly stepped in, a case was filed, and Ansari was put in custody by the police.

The law didn’t hold back either. Ansari now faces serious charges under Sections 69, 191(2), 115(2), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The police aren’t stopping there—they’re digging deeper to see if anyone else was part of this cruel scheme. For now, Shamsher Ansari is locked up, but the investigation is still ongoing to uncover the full story.

Deception Began Five Years Ago with a Phone Call

The victim shared her painful journey, explaining how it all started about five years back. That’s when she first crossed paths with Ansari, who called himself Tiger. It wasn’t some grand meeting—it began with something as ordinary as a wrong number. Tiger dialed her by mistake, or so it seemed, and that one call set everything in motion. Over time, they started talking more, and slowly, a bond formed between them. He made regular trips from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar just to see her, building her trust step by step. Eventually, he convinced her that he was the one for her, and she agreed to marry him.

But the fairy tale ended fast. Months after their marriage, the truth came crashing down when she stumbled upon his Aadhaar card. That’s when she realized Tiger wasn’t who he said he was—his real name was Shamsher Ansari. The shock left her reeling. She confronted him, desperate for answers, and his response was chilling. He admitted it all without a hint of regret, saying, “Had I told you I was a Muslim, you would never have fallen into my trap.” By then, she was already carrying his child, and though she tried to come to terms with the betrayal, the worst was yet to come.

Things took a dark turn soon after. Shamsher dropped the mask completely and showed his true colors. He began pressuring her to leave her Hindu faith behind, insisting she convert to Islam. He demanded she cover herself in a burqa and start praying namaz like a Muslim. When she stood her ground and refused, his temper flared. The man she once trusted turned violent, raising his hands against her without mercy.

‘Tiger’ Turned Tormentor

Once his real identity was out in the open, the woman’s life became a living hell. She described how Ansari’s behavior flipped overnight. He wouldn’t let up—constantly nagging her to convert to Islam and wear a burqa. He even ordered her to offer namaz, trying to force her into a life she didn’t want. When she pushed back, saying no to his demands, he didn’t just get angry—he got brutal. She alleges he beat her and, in a horrifying twist, forced her to eat beef, knowing full well it went against everything she believed in. Fear took over her days and nights, and she knew she couldn’t stay in that house any longer. With her heart pounding, she made a daring escape and fled back to her village in Bihar.

There, alone and scared, she gave birth to the baby she had been carrying all this time. But even with a newborn in her arms, she wasn’t ready to let this injustice slide. She wanted Shamsher to pay for what he’d done. She went to the local police station again and again, begging them to listen. At first, it felt like no one cared—her complaints were brushed off, partly because Shamsher had the village head in his corner, backing him up. To make matters worse, he started threatening her, warning that he’d throw acid on her face or even kill her if she didn’t keep quiet.

But this young mother wasn’t about to back down. One day, she scooped up her six-month-old baby, marched to the Kushinagar SP’s office, and laid her whole story bare. She stood there, tears in her eyes, telling SP Santosh Mishra every detail of her suffering. Her words hit hard, and the SP couldn’t ignore her pain. He acted fast, telling his team to file an FIR right away. In his own words, “The victim approached police during public hearing. Based on her complaint, FIR was registered and investigation is underway.” A special team was put together to track down the truth, and soon enough, they had Shamsher in custody.

Case Filed Under Multiple Sections

SP Santosh Mishra didn’t waste a second after hearing the woman’s heartbreaking tale. He made it clear this wasn’t going to be swept under the rug. He ordered his officers to register a case and bring the accused in. Before long, the police tracked down Shamsher Ansari, also known as Tiger, and arrested him. Early checks backed up what the victim had said, and the law came down hard. He was charged under Sections 69, 191(2), 115(2), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), serious sections that reflect the gravity of his actions. After his arrest, he was sent straight to jail, but the police aren’t done yet—they’re still investigating to see if there’s more to this story.

For the victim, though, this is far from a happy ending. She’s left picking up the pieces of a broken life, cradling her six-month-old child who’s caught up in this mess through no fault of their own. Based on her statement and what the police have found so far, Shamsher Ansari alias Tiger is behind bars. But the road ahead is uncertain for this brave woman and her little one, whose future has been shaken by a man who turned love into a trap.
