She used Rs 32 lakhs from this sale to buy property, which she was led to believe would protect her son's financial interests. Unbeknownst to her at the time, the transaction was manipulated by Mir, who directed the payment to the property dealer.

She described how the situation took a "horrifying turn" as Mir's genuine intentions became evident. She stated, "He emotionally blackmailed me and coerced me to give him my savings and sell my jewelry valued between Rs 40 to 50 lakhs to purchase property," highlighting a pattern of exploitation aimed at draining her financially.

Once Jain's financial resources were depleted, she reported that Mir's behavior shifted dramatically towards regular physical abuse.
