Following the defeat of India to Pakistan in the group stage match of the T20 World Cup 2021, an old Facebook post of riot accused and radical Islamist Sharjeel Imam surfaced on social media.

Recently, a despicable video of a man dressed as UP CM Yogi Adityanath being roped and led by a group of men who are seen assaulting him has gone viral on the internet. The video was shot during the rally carried out by Islamist organisation Campus Front of India, who has been railing against the Uttar Pradesh chief minister for the prosecution of Siddique Kappan, one among 8 PFI activists charged for inciting communal unrest during the Hathras incident. Campus Front of India is the students wing of Islamist outfit PFI.

The news of Tamil film, Koozhangal (Pebbles) becoming India's official Oscar entry in the Best International Feature Film category recently made the news. The comment came after fellow panelist Harbhajan Singh made a ‘we are one’ comment about India and Pakistan. During the discussion, the Indian spinner said that relationship between cricketers of the two countries are hindered when someone insults India and the Indian Flag.
