This arrest was made on Friday, June 28th, 2024.

On the evening of 28th June, in a distressing incident at the Kali Mata Temple in Janata Colony, Faridabad, a young temple priest named Ravi Bhagat was violently attacked. Identified assailants, Iqbal, Mehtab, and several others, assaulted him, severely slashing his throat with a knife. Resisting these forced conversions led to physical assault by Azim Ali.
