"Saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies": J&K Govt terminated Dr Bilal Ahmad Dalal and Dr Nighat Shaheen Chilloo for working with Pakistan to falsify post-mortem report of Asiya and Neelofar to falsely implicate Indian Army

Then the local villagers in Jammu and Kashmir, under the influence of the Hurriyat, led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, attempted to stir up unrest by falsely accusing members of the security forces of heinous crimes

J&K: 2 doctors terminated for faking postmortem reports in Asiya Neelofar death case to falsely implicate army officials of rape and murder

In the intricate tapestry of Indian politics and national security, there are threads that, when pulled, unravel tales of treachery and deceit that leave one astounded. One such thread leads us to the infamous Shopian double rape-cum-murder case of 2009, a case that shook the nation and brought the beautiful valley of Kashmir to a standstill.

However, as the dust settled and the truth emerged, it became clear that this was not a simple case of crime but a calculated act of betrayal against the nation and its protectors, the Indian Army.

Neelofar Jan, aged 22 and Aasiya Jan, aged 17 were sisters-in-law and resided in Bongam, Shopian. Neelofar Jan was married to Shakeel Ahmed Ahangar and the couple had a two-year-old son. Aasiya Jan was the daughter of Abdul Gani Ahangar. She had secured a distinction in her matriculation exams in the year preceding her death.

Then the local villagers in Jammu and Kashmir, under the influence of the Hurriyat, led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, attempted to stir up unrest by falsely accusing members of the security forces of heinous crimes. The villagers claimed that two women were brutally raped and murdered by the security forces, a claim that was later proven to be baseless.

The accusations led to a call for a shutdown of businesses by Geelani, which eventually escalated into violent protests. The administration was forced to declare a curfew to maintain law and order. The police, in their press release on May 30, stated, "Post-mortem conducted revealed no marks on the dead bodies including private parts."

The government of Jammu and Kashmir, acknowledging the lack of faith in police investigations among the people, ordered a judicial probe into the incident. Justice Muzaffar Jan was appointed to lead the investigation. However, the probe took a shocking turn when the doctor who conducted the post-mortem admitted to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that the vaginal swabs submitted for testing were fabricated from discarded lab items. She confessed that she had not taken any swabs from the victims. This revelation was further confirmed when testing by the Central Forensic Laboratory proved that the samples submitted after the post-mortem did not match the victims.

On June 7, 2009, the Jammu and Kashmir police filed an FIR of rape and murder following widespread protests across the state. However, the allegations were later found to be baseless, and the unrest was revealed to be a calculated move by anti-national elements to create chaos and discredit the security forces.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the lengths to which anti-national elements will go to create unrest and destabilize the region. It underscores the need for vigilance and thorough investigation in the face of such allegations to ensure that the truth prevails.

The protagonists of this tale are two doctors, Bilal Ahmad Dalal and Nighat Shaheen Chilloo, who, in an act of treachery, falsified the postmortem reports of two girls, Asiya and Neelofar, who had tragically lost their lives to accidental drowning. However, these doctors, driven by motives that reek of anti-national sentiment, painted a picture so gruesome that it sent shockwaves across the nation. They claimed that these innocent girls were victims of rape and murder, and the perpetrators were none other than the officials of the Indian Army.

The audacity of these doctors to falsely implicate the Indian Army in such heinous crimes is a testament to the lengths some individuals will go to spread disaffection against the armed forces. It's a narrative that's been peddled time and again by those who seek to undermine the morale of our soldiers and tarnish the image of our nation. But as the saying goes, "Truth prevails," and in this case, it did, albeit after a series of violent protests and unrest.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in its probe, found that the claims of rape and murder were baseless. The girls had not been violated; they had not been murdered. They had tragically lost their lives to an accident. The CBI's findings were backed by statistics from the state irrigation department, which indicated an increased water discharge in the Rambiara river, where the girls had drowned.

The CBI's investigation also brought to light the extent of the deceit perpetrated by the doctors. They had not only lied in their reports but had also tampered with the vaginal swab samples. The DNA tests on the 47 officials, whose samples were gathered, came up negative, further solidifying the innocence of the accused.

The audacity of the doctors didn't stop at falsifying reports and tampering with evidence. According to a report by India Today, Dr. Nighat Shaheen, one of the accused doctors, had concluded that the girls were raped without even examining their vaginas. She and her associates had falsely stated in the report that Asiya's hymen was ruptured. However, when doctors from AIIMS conducted the autopsy, they found that Asiya's hymen was intact.

This case is not an isolated incident. There have been several instances where the Indian Army has been falsely implicated and insulted to weaken their morale. These acts of treachery are not just against the Army but against the nation itself. It's a betrayal that stems from a place of deep-seated anti-national sentiment and serves the purpose of those who wish to see India destabilized.

The termination of the services of the two doctors by the Jammu and Kashmir government is a step in the right direction. It sends a clear message that acts of treachery against the nation and its protectors will not be tolerated. However, it also serves as a reminder of the threats that lurk within our borders, threats that we must remain vigilant against.

Rana seeks cancellation of licenses of terminated doctors accused of fabricating evidence in Asiya-Neelofar case

On June 22, in Srinagar, Devender Singh Rana, a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former MLA of Nagrota, urged the government to revoke the licenses of two doctors. These doctors, previously dismissed, were accused of falsifying evidence in the 2009 Asiya-Neelofar case.

Rana took to Twitter to express his approval of the government's decision to terminate the doctors, who were alleged to have tampered with the post-mortem reports of Asiya and Neelofar.

In his tweet, Rana praised the government's decision, stating, "Good decision of the @officeofLG Government. Rule of Law is being established." He further accused the doctors of creating false reports under the influence of forces detrimental to national security, which resulted in unrest in Kashmir, causing injuries to over a hundred people and leading to approximately six deaths.

Rana further tweeted that while dismissal from service was a step in the right direction, legal action should be taken against the doctors as per the CrPC. He also urged the government to present the facts to the Medical Council of India (MCI) and request the cancellation of the doctors' medical licenses and degrees.

Now, let's discuss the warning of CDS Rawat about the 2.5 fronts in India.

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat has been vocal about the challenges that India faces on multiple fronts. He has often referred to these challenges as the "2.5 front war". The "2.5 fronts" refer to the eastern front (China), the western front (Pakistan), and the half front (internal security issues).

General Rawat has emphasized the need for India to be prepared to fight a two-front war. He has pointed out that both China and Pakistan pose significant threats to India's security. The eastern front with China is particularly concerning due to the ongoing border disputes and the increasing military capabilities of China. On the western front, Pakistan continues to sponsor terrorism, which is a constant threat to India's internal security.

The "half front" refers to the internal security challenges that India faces. These include insurgency in the North-East, left-wing extremism in central India, and separatist movements in Jammu and Kashmir. General Rawat has stressed the need for a comprehensive strategy to deal with these internal security issues.

General Rawat has also highlighted the need for modernization of the Indian armed forces to deal with these challenges. He has advocated for increased investment in defence infrastructure, modern weaponry, and technology. He has also emphasized the importance of jointness among the three services - Army, Navy, and Air Force - to effectively counter the threats on the 2.5 fronts.

In conclusion, the warning of CDS Rawat about the 2.5 fronts in India is a call for increased vigilance, preparedness, and modernization of the Indian armed forces. It is a reminder of the complex security challenges that India faces and the need for a comprehensive strategy to deal with them
