While the Indian government is rejecting any foreign interference in domestic matters in India, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has decided to take the opposite path. The Kerala MP stroked a massive outrage today by asking for American interference in India’s internal matters.

In the census of 2011, Punjab had a total of 3,48,230 Christians. If these numbers are correct, in the last years, the population of Christians has increased at least 10 times. 10% of Punjab is now Christian and the conversions to Christianity are increasing on a daily basis. On March 4, The Income Tax department (IT dept) conducted raid on properties linked to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, actress Taapsee Pannu and others continued for the second day. The Income Tax department started carrying out raids on 22 locations on March 3 on the properties linked to Kashyap, Pannu, Vikas Bahl, filmmaker Madhu Mantena and others in Mumbai, Pune and other locations. The raids are in connection to the allegation of tax evasion by Kashyap’s Phantom Films that was dissolved in 2018.

After the reports of NCERT textbook not having any information regarding some of the highly contested claims made in class 12 History textbook, another news has emerged from Kerala regarding a false claim made in the state board political science textbook. According to class 9 social science textbook, Abu al-Qasim Al-Zahwari is the ‘father of surgery’; while it is widely regarded that Indian physician Sushruta had done surgeries way back in 8th century BCE. Al-Zahwari is said to have lived in 10th century C.E.

In the backdrop of an RTI reply by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) stating that it has no record or files pertaining to the false information incorporated in relation to Mughal tyrant Aurungzeb in the history textbooks published by it, a Parliamentary Standing Committee on Wednesday met with Representatives of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-linked Bharatiya Shiksha Mandal and Shiksha Sanskriti Nyas, and educationists JS Rajput and Shankar Sharan, to discuss the revision of history textbooks used in schools across India. BJP MP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe heads the committee.

A team of Delhi Police's Crime Branch arrested the four accused, identified as Deen Mohd (40), Dilshan (22), Fayaiz (21) and Faizan (21), who all are residents of the Mangolpuri area.
Additional PRO (Delhi Police) Anil Mittal said after examining witnesses and analysing the CCTV footage, the Crime Branch team probing the case has arrested four more men, taking the total arrests to nine in the Rinku Sharma murder case. The accused were identified and arrested on the basis of CCTV footage in which they were seen attacking Sharma, he said.

In a shocking rally in Kerala today, the Popular Front of India (PFI), an extremist Islamist organization, chose to do a rally parading men dressed in RSS uniforms. The men being paraded were also chained. The audio and visuals from the rally confirm a lot of Islamic chanting, including Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illallah muhammadur rasulullah, and others chanted during the procession.
