Madhya Pradesh News: This shocking case of molestation occurred under the distressing watch of the victim's father. After the initial assault on the young woman, her brother, Saurabh Yadav, stepped in to protect her, which led to a more violent altercation. The attackers, Islamist goons, escalated their aggression by using a knife against Saurabh, inflicting severe injuries from his neck to his ear. Bal Kishan Yadav sustained injuries during the assault as well.
The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the family in a state of shock and the community rattled. In response to this violent episode, local authorities have acted swiftly. The police registered an FIR and have already detained two individuals linked to this brutal attack. These suspects are currently under interrogation.
The incident took place near the Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in the Apaganj area, which is predominantly Muslim and falls under the jurisdiction of the Janakganj police station. The community is now on high alert, and local law enforcement is maintaining a strong presence to prevent any further disturbances and ensure the safety of all residents.
In a disheartening display of apathy, bystanders in the Apaganj area remained inactive during the assault on a local family, choosing not to intervene as the events unfolded. This incident has highlighted a stark reluctance among the public to step in during acts of violence, which has been a source of great concern within the community.
The distressing event occurred under the jurisdiction of the Janakganj police station, where local authorities have promptly responded. An FIR was registered following the assault, and two individuals suspected of involvement in the molestation have been detained for further investigation. Given the tense inter-communal dynamics in the area, additional police forces have been deployed to forestall any potential unrest.
Hindu organizations have vocally expressed their dismay and have begun protests to draw attention to what they perceive as an attack on a Hindu family's dignity and safety. These groups are advocating for justice for the family and demanding stronger measures to protect local residents from such violent acts.

Salman, Imran, and Mubarik Involved in Molestation
The incident has directly impacted the family of 59-year-old Balkishan Yadav, who owns a small grocery store near the Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in the Harikotaseer area. Balkishan, who has two sons and two daughters, often relies on his children to help manage the store due to their modest financial situation. According to Balkishan, the assault took place on a Thursday evening while he was at the shop with his daughter.
The distressing sequence of events in the Apaganj area continued to spiral as Salman Khan, Imran Khan, Mubarik Khan, and their neighbor Sameer Khan, all residents of the locality, approached Balkishan Yadav's grocery store. The group began to harass Balkishan’s daughters with lewd comments and escalated their provocation into physical molestation. When Balkishan and his daughters attempted to resist, the confrontation turned violent.
The aggressors forcibly removed Balkishan from the premises of his own shop, dragging him onto the street where they subjected him to a brutal beating. His daughters, in a desperate attempt to intervene and protect their father, were also met with physical violence, suffering from kicks and punches as they too were dragged onto the street.
Amidst this chaos, Balkishan’s 18-year-old son, Saurabh Yadav, who was inside their house at the time, heard the commotion and rushed out to assist his family. His attempt to defend his father and sisters, however, resulted in the aggressors turning their violence towards him. In the ensuing altercation, Saurabh was beaten by the four assailants. As he continued to protect his family, the confrontation reached a horrifying climax when one of the attackers used a knife against him.
Saurabh was thrown to the ground and stabbed. The knife attack was particularly severe, as the blade passed through his neck, reaching his cheek and ending below his ear. This brutal act has left the family and community in shock, fearing for their safety and calling for immediate and decisive action against such unchecked aggression.

Hindu Community Response and Police Action Following Gwalior Attack
In the aftermath of the brutal attack, Saurabh Yadav was grievously injured and required immediate medical attention. He has since been admitted to a local hospital where he is receiving treatment for the severe injuries sustained during the assault. The incident has reopened old wounds for the Yadav family, as Balkishan Yadav recounted that the accused have a known criminal history, including a prior dispute involving the molestation of his daughter two years ago.
The gravity of the situation drew the attention of Vasant Godayale, a prominent leader from the Hindu Jagran Manch. He, along with several activists, quickly made their way to the police station to demand decisive action against those responsible for the attack. Their arrival intensified the atmosphere, leading to the chanting of slogans which escalated tensions in the already sensitive area. This prompted the deployment of additional police forces to maintain order and ensure community safety.
This area has a history of inter-community tension, marked previously by incidents such as stone pelting during a Hindu community procession, underscoring its sensitivity and the complexities involved in maintaining peace.
Despite the initial turmoil, the response from the police seems to have later satisfied the leaders of the Hindu Jagran Manch, indicating a potential de-escalation of immediate community unrest. Meanwhile, activists from the Bajrang Dal played a crucial role in providing aid, as they promptly transported the injured Saurabh to the hospital, demonstrating community solidarity in times of crisis. The police have officially commenced an investigation to address this violent incident, signaling a move towards justice and resolution.
