On January 27, Twitter replied to the allegations made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi where he had alleged conspiracy as his followers were not increasing on the social media platform. In its reply, the Twitter spokesperson said that the social media platform has a zero-tolerance approach to platform manipulation and spam. Twitter further added that they have removed millions of accounts for violating their terms and condition.

If getting slammed by Indians for fake news and supporting terrorists was not enough, Rana Ayyub is now being blasted by Saudis for one of her tweets. Yesterday, the controversial journalist had posted a tweet slamming Saudi Arabia for launching a military operation against Yemen. She is now attacked on Twitter by Saudi netizens in response to that, accusing her of supporting terrorism.

On January 1, the owner of the propaganda Instagram account f*ckBJP has been accused of emotional abuse by at least three women. f*ckBJP is “popular” for its anti-BJP, anti-Modi posts and has over 90,000 followers on Instagram.

The Uttarakhand police have taken to Twitter to refute allegations that Christmas celebrations were banned in the state. Taking to its official Twitter handle, the Uttarakhand police wrote in Hindi which roughly translated as: “Nowhere in the state was there a prohibition on the Christmas festival.

2021 saw six lynching cases linked to sacrilege of Sikh Holy Books and symbols in Punjab. Two of them were reported in a span of 24 hours, on December 18 in Amritsar and December 19 in Kapurthala. There are some condemning the murders, however, a large number of people are only condemning the alleged sacrilege, and keeping mum on the lynchings. There is even a section of people that is supporting ‘instant justice’. However, at this moment, it is of utmost importance to sit down and think about the series of events that are leading to such killings. One cannot become so angry that they pick up weapons to kill someone without being provoked to do so.

For years, the liberal hatred of everything Hindu was a subtle phenomenon. They used various tricks such as gaslighting, manipulation, deception and victimhood narrative to keep Hindus perpetually guilt-tripped. What was once carried out clandestinely started happening overtly and conspicuously after PM Modi was elected to the highest position offered by the Indian Constitution. 

As soon as some person of Indian origin becomes CEO of this or that public company in the USA or Europe, a predictable set of events unfold in India and on Social Media.

In a controversial move, the micro-blogging site Twitter has verified the Twitter handle of notorious radical Islamic organisation – Popular Front of India (PFI).
